Central invites you to enjoy the rewards and embrace the risks of community through a small group. Community is God’s idea. Only in community can we be encouraged and challenged as real people and real life meet the truth of God’s Word. Small group is a place to find meaningful connection with ot0her people, where relationships and community are formed through Bible study, prayer, and the sharing of life together. Small group is about experiencing life together with friends. Real faith. Real friends. Join a small group today, and experience a deeper connection to God and others.

Small groups provide opportunities to...

  • Build life-supporting friendships
  • Give and receive love and encouragement
  • Study the Bible in an easy, non-intimidating environment
  • Grow and change as you become all you can be through life-giving community
  •

    Getting started...

It can be intimidating visiting a small group for the first time. Maybe you only know one other person; or no one at all. Maybe you’re concerned because you think you don’t know enough about the Bible, or you don’t like to pray in public. You will never be singled out in any way. Small groups have a “come as you are” philosophy.  Small group is a place for everyone to learn, grow, and “be for each other”. But it does take that first step on your part; to actually look for a group that fits your season of life.  You can use our internet based group finder that can help narrow your search. Or you can email Marty Mills, Small Groups Pastor, at: marty@thenewcentral.com. You may also call the church office at 242-4185, ext. 21.
